Description

Our Barrel Aged Dark Balsamic is the aged balsamic vinegar to keep on the counter for everyday cooking. It is a blend of 80% cooked grape must and premium aged wine vinegar, aged up to 10 years in small oak casks using the traditional Solera method. The result pours thick and syrupy, tastes sweet and complex, and never bites like a thin, sharp supermarket balsamic.

Tasting notes

  • Sweet and complex, with subtle notes of raisin, fig and caramel
  • Made from late-harvest Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes
  • No added sugars or thickeners; thick straight from the bottle with no reduction needed
